چکیده
Abstract The present study analyzed the volatile compounds emitted by Glycine max (cv. FT-Cristalina-RCH) soybean plants: healthy plants and damaged mechanically or Mexican weevil Rhyssomatus nigerrimus. SPME method was used to compare profile of in four different conditions. G. infested R. nigerrimus qualitatively quantitatively from that plants. Emission 59 detected treatments. Of these compounds, 19 were identified comparison Kovats index, mass spectrum retention times with those synthetic standards. An increase concentration volatiles (Z)-3-hexenyl acetate compound 1-octen-3-ol observed when damaged. mostly produced plant during infestation male female 1-octen-3-ol, 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one, (E)-?-ocimene, salicylaldehyde, unknown 10, linalool, methyl salicylate, (Z)-8-dodecenyl (ester 5), ketone 2 geranyl acetone. Behavioral effects insect-plant interaction their conspecifics are discussed.

Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr].
In this chapter we describe an Agrobacterium tumefaciens transformation method of soybean that utilizes mature half seeds and regeneration from the cotyledonary node region. This method results in fertile transformed soybean plants and transgenic seed in approximately 9 months. Using mature half seeds as starting material has proven to be a reliable method that does not require additional wound...
متن کاملRelationship between Yield and its Component in Soybean Genotypes (Glycine Max L.) using Multivariate Statistical Methods
18 soybean genotypes were examined to investigate the relationships between some principal attributions of morphology with seed yield per soybean, by Random Complete Block Design (RCBD) study. This study was also carried out three replicates to gain reliable results. The results of variance analysis indicated that, there were significance differences among all soybean genotypes. Moreover, the r...
متن کاملSoybean Seed Extracts Preferentially Express Genomic Loci of Bradyrhizobium japonicum in the Initial Interaction with Soybean, Glycine max (L.) Merr
Initial interaction between rhizobia and legumes actually starts via encounters of both partners in the rhizosphere. In this study, the global expression profiles of Bradyrhizobium japonicum USDA 110 in response to soybean (Glycine max) seed extracts (SSE) and genistein, a major soybean-released isoflavone for nod genes induction of B. japonicum, were compared. SSE induced many genomic loci as ...
متن کاملMetabolic and Transcriptional Reprogramming in Developing Soybean (Glycine max) Embryos
Soybean (Glycine max) seeds are an important source of seed storage compounds, including protein, oil, and sugar used for food, feed, chemical, and biofuel production. We assessed detailed temporal transcriptional and metabolic changes in developing soybean embryos to gain a systems biology view of developmental and metabolic changes and to identify potential targets for metabolic engineering. ...
متن کاملChanges in RNA Splicing in Developing Soybean (Glycine max) Embryos
Developing soybean seeds accumulate oils, proteins, and carbohydrates that are used as oxidizable substrates providing metabolic precursors and energy during seed germination. The accumulation of these storage compounds in developing seeds is highly regulated at multiple levels, including at transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation. RNA sequencing was used to provide comprehensive in...
